If you enjoy nature, wildlife, history, and arts, then these are some of the best places to visit in Nairobi with your better half. The best thing about these places is that they are very pocket-friendly.

Located inside the KWS Headquarters along Lang’ata road, the Safari Nature Walk is one of the best places to visit in Nairobi for couples, especially couples who love nature and wildlife.

The park is 0.11 square kilometres in size and is divided into three major ecosystems: savannah, wetlands, and forestry. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, and columbus monkeys, to name a few as well as a wide variety of bird species.

The park’s raised wooden boardwalk allows tourists to have a closer view of the exotic wildlife without getting dangerously close or disturbing them.

At a price of Ksh.215 per adult, you and your better half can enjoy long romantic nature walks accompanied by birdwatching and game viewing, all while absorbing the scenic and refreshing serene environment.

Famous for being the world’s only national park in a capital city, the Nairobi National Park is a great destination for couples who prefer to watch wild animals in their natural habitat.

Established in 1946 and with an area of 117 square kilometres, the extensive grass plains with scattered acacia bushes are home to diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and over 400 species of birds.

The park is also located along Lang’ata road and its entrance is also at the KWS headquarters. The entrance fee per adult is Ksh. 430, but you will also need to budget for a tour van if you don’t own a personal car.
