Do you want to support African female filmmakers?
Well, here’s your chance. The International Images Film Festival for Women (IIFF) is making its return this November between the 24 and 27 in Zimbabwe. Started in 2002, it is the only film festival of its kind in Southern Africa and one of the oldest in the world.
The events bring together women-focused films from Africa and around the world in a bid to showcase and celebrate the work of African female filmmakers. You can too.
The IIFF is running a crowdfunding campaign with the goal of raising €5,000 or $4,900 to facilitate the event - covering festival expenses, screening equipment hire, awards, jury, and stationery amongst other requirements.
