There was a time when this was the hairstyle choice of so many women, at least here in the capital. Although it's still been worn, its popularity has kind of faded. I like this style as it just makes your hair look pulled together. If you get one that blends well with your hair, it just adds pop and you might people might just be wondering about your length.

Whilst we are still on the subject of extensions, they will always be in fashion so whatever you go with, rest assured you’ll be OK. About ponytails, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like them. They allow your face and all its beauty to be seen plus you get to enjoy the length of your hair as others admire. 

Another style you can opt for. With so many eye-turning designs to pick from, cutting your hair short is just the one thing you might need to kick start your year on a high. Gone are the days when women swore they’d never cut their hair. Short is in fashion and as long as you keep it fresh, you will always look fabulous. 

Seems like we are going back to the 90s with our clothes and hair. As black women embrace wearing their natural hair, the afro has made a big comeback and it’s now cool and stylish. If yours doesn’t pop as much, worry not as you can get some extensions to increase the volume. 

Oh! Don’t we love the contrast in colours that come with this style? It just catches the eye and if you do it right, which is, using the right tones for your hair and skin complexion, you’ll be the centre of attraction wherever street you walk on.
