1. Begin by washing, moisturizing and conditioning your hair. You can do this at home or have it done at the salon.  

2. Straighten your hair. This will make it easier to section it when you start braiding.

3. Start parting the hair into sizeable portions and attach the braiding hair. Keep these separate so that it does not tangle with the undone sections.

4. Once that’s complete, braid each piece of hair all the way down.

5. Finally, seal the ends of the braided hair. Do this by dipping the ends of the braid in a container of hot water. Make sure you have a towel in hand to dry them off.
